The Chairman, the Burger Bash Champ and the Anagrams

At the NYC Wine and Food Festival this past weekend the Butcher took home an iPod Touch courtesy of the good people at Eater and the Food Network. And let us tell you, iPods are good for a greAt
Many things but blogging about meat is not one of them, particularly if you have sausage fingers.
The here Touch was the prize in possibly the dorkiest contest in a lifetime of dorky contests. The task was to create as mAny words as possible from the names of four chefs who have names like they are spare parts on a German automobile. There would be four winners selected from among the submissions to Eater with the most words. And you guessed it dear reader, we were among them. Now you will be subjected to barely intelligible floods of letters until we figure bh how to work a touchscreen with greasy sausage xf fingersz.
At the so called Eater blogger lounge where the proizea were handed out–by the Chairman from Iron Chef no less–was the sort of cast of showboat you’d expect, with Josh Chasin, winner of the people’s choive award at the Burger Bash the night before, shouting across the beer garden at the Standard Hotel and generally acting like a Yankees fan. When finally the Chairman arrived, with his sort of skanky looking Dancing With the Stars partner in tow and purple shades in place looking very MPD, it all seemed to make perfect sense.

Spread the bloody truth.
